Boarding Policies

Vaccines:

Owner’s must provide proof that each dog is up-to-date on the vaccines listed below prior to check-in. All vaccines we require must be administered by a veterinarian. While we will do our best to remind you upon booking, if any vaccines are needing to be updated – it is ultimately the owner’s responsibility to make sure we have valid copies. The vaccine records can be emailed, printed and brought in, or forwarded from your veterinarian’s office.

*(Covering: Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, and Leptospirosis)

We highly recommend all dogs are also on flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.

Medications:

We do accept dogs on any and all medications and conditions. This includes diabetes, seizures, anxiety, etc.

We do not charge any extra for the administration of medicine but we do ask that owners provide an effective way to administer them (peanut butter, cheese, pill pockets, etc).

All medications must come with written instructions for administration and be in their original packaging.

We keep a log of when each medication is administered during the stay and by whom. A copy of this log is kept on file for 30 days after pick up and is also available to the owner upon request.

Belongings:

Owners are should bring anything and everything they would like in order to make their dogs’ stay with us as comfortable as possible. Bringing their beds, blankets, toys, bones, and their favorite treats are highly encouraged. All of the toys/bones brought are only allowed in their individual rooms as we will provide toys in each of our six (6) yards for use during their four (4) daily potty/play time breaks.

We keep an accurate log of all items (including leashes and collars) brought each stay and document any damage an item may receive while at the kennel.

Food and water bowls will be provided for your dog during each stay. We will also provide raised feeders for dogs who need them. We will only use an owner’s bowls if they are a slow feeder style bowl.

We do have a washer and dryer on-site and strive to keep all belongings as clean as we possibly can.

Food/Treats:

Owner’s must provide ample food for each dog(s) for the entirety of their stay. We recommend measuring each meal into individual bags or making sure to bring the same scooping device used at home to measure their food. We also recommend packing an extra day’s worth of food just in case of emergency.

Owners are allowed to bring any treats or chews they would like us to give their dog(s) during their stay. We do provide treats twice daily, for an extra fee, once at midmorning and once again at bedtime. If you provide treats for them, we will give them to your dog(s) at whatever time is specified by their owner on their food instructions.

If daily chews/treats are provided, we make sure that each one is eaten before giving another. For example, if we give your dog(s) a treat (rawhide/dentastick/etc) on Monday morning but on Tuesday morning it is still untouched in their room, we will not give another one until that first one has been consumed.

NOTE: Our check in/check out policy dictates that clients are charged a full day no matter when they check in their pup(s). For check out, pup(s) must be picked up by noon. If they are picked up any later this will results in being charged for another full day.
